Reut Vetorero

Mezzo-soprano

Reut Ventorero is a graduate of the Jerusalem Academy of Music & Dance and the Royal Conservatory of the Hague where she specialized in early music performance practice. She sang as a soloist in major concert halls, Opera houses and festivals around Europe under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle, Stefano Montanari, Speranza Scappucci, Michele Spotti, Daniel Rustioni and Leonardo García Alarcón among others.

She was invited to take part in various prestigious young artists programs such as the Voice and Creation Residency of the Academy of Aix-en-Provence Festival (2015), the Luzern Festival Academy (2014) and the Ambronay Festival Academy (2013). Between the years 2012-2015 she participated regularly in the summer opera program of the International Vocal Arts Institute in Tel-Aviv. 

Ms. Ventorero was selected for the first edition of "Fabbrica" YAP of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma 2016-2017, where she interpreted numerous roles on the main stage. Following the program she was engaged with the Theater Orchester Biel-Solothurn and with the Opéra de Saint-Étienne as Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia) and returned to Teatro dell’Opera di Roma as Teresa (La Sonnambula), Zerlina (Don Giovanni) and as Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro).

Her concert repertoire ranges from early baroque repertoire and chamber music to contemporary music including pieces that were written especially for her voice.

As a concert singer Reut Collaborated with the Roma Tre Orchestra with Les Esprits Animaux and with the Ensemble Solistes XXI (recorded for Radio France). In Israel she sang with the Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra, the Israel Camerata Jerusalem and she is regularly collaborating the Meitar Ensemble. She performed in festivals such as the the Abu-Gosh Festival, the Israeli Music fest and the Felicja Blumental International Music Festival. Together with pianist Hagai Yodan, she recently gave a recital in the Israeli Music Fest 2022 where they presented their CD dedicated to the Israeli Art Song recorded in collaboration with the Israeli Music Institute.  Other recent engagements includes two roles written especially for her voice in Hana Ajiashvili’s new opera “Cut Glass” and a world premiere of Oded Zehavi two hymns with Symphonette Ra’anana Orchestra.

She is a scholarship recipient by the America-Israel Cultural Foundation, the Ronen Foundation, the Israel Vocal Arts Institute and the Buchman-Heiman Foundation.
