Dan Deutsch
Acclaimed pianist Dan Deutsch is a frequent recital soloist and sought-after vocal
accompanist, performing in prestigious concert halls around the globe. His appearances
have included the Tel Aviv Culture Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Ruhr Piano Festival in Essen, and the Espoo Music Festival.
Deutsch regularly collaborates with leading singers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, and Israel, earning recognition for his sensitive musicianship and refined
interpretive style.
In addition to his active concert career, Deutsch teaches the Art Song Course at the Buchmann–Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University, where he works with students from both the Vocal and Piano Departments. His teaching focuses on musical interpretation, vocal technique, and the interplay between text and music, with a strong emphasis on emotional expression and performance artistry.
Deutsch’s collaboration with countertenor Yaniv d’Or resulted in a highly acclaimed Naxos album, which received outstanding reviews from the international press.

Shira Patchornik

Born in Israel, the Israeli soprano Shira Patchornik, currently residing in Germany, possesses a rich repertoire, appearing primarily on opera stages. After her studies at the Buchmann–Mehta School of Music, where she studied with Professor Sharon Rostorf-Zamir, she continued her training at HMT Leipzig with Professor Jeanette Favaro-Reuter.
Immediately after her studies, she was a member of the ensemble of Staatstheater Wiesbaden, where she performed roles such as Gretel, Micaëla, Pamina, Zerlina, and Oscar.
In recent years she has appeared, among many others, as Susanna, Morgana, Tatiana, Cleopatra, and Anne Frank on leading stages including Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf, Komische Oper Berlin, the Bregenzer Festspiele, Theater an der Wien, Teatro Regio di Torino, Prague National Opera, and the Israeli Opera.
Shira Patchornik works regularly with Andrea Marcon and La Cetra Baroque Orchestra, with Dorothee Oberlinger, and with Václav Luks, and performs in venues as the Wiener Konzerthaus, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, and St. Thomas Church in Leipzig. She won first prize at both Cesti Competition in Innsbruck and Concours Corneille in Rouen.
Her debut opera libretto, Kind of Monster (composer: Ady Cohen, performed by the Bat-Kol Choir), achieved great success and won the Audience Award at the international YAM Awards for music for young audiences in 2025.
