Kirill Odintsov
baritone
Kirill Odintsov is a Russian-born baritone and a current
member of the Israeli Opera Young Artist Program (2023–
2025). He made his professional operatic debut in 2024 at
the Israeli Opera, performing the roles of Monterone and
the Servant in Rigoletto. This appearance marked a
significant milestone in his career, as it was his first
opportunity to perform large-scale dramatic repertoire on a
major opera stage.
In the same season, he also appeared as the Commissioner
in Dialogues of the Carmelites at the Israeli Opera and sang
Don Balfour in The Love for Three Oranges with the Israel
Opera Project. Prior to that, he performed Morales in
Carmen with the Jerusalem Lyric Opera and took on the
role of Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro in an independent
production in Israel.
In the 2025 season, Odintsov is set to perform the roles of
Lackey in Ariadne auf Naxos, Mandarin in Turandot, and
Araldo in Otello — all at the Israeli Opera.
He began his vocal training at the Gnessin State Musical
College in Moscow, continued at the Russian Institute of
Theatre Arts (GITIS), and is currently completing his
bachelor’s degree at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and
Dance.
Since 2024, Odintsov has been a recipient of the America–
Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF) Award. He has a deep
passion for dramatic repertoire and is dedicated to further
developing his vocal and stage artistry through a broad
range of operatic roles.
