Born in 1976 in Kibbutz Mesilot, Guy started piano lessons when he was 11 years old, later on switched to bass guitar. Avi Yifrah and Yorai Oron were among his teachers. In 1999 Guy started his studies at the Rimon Music School, where he took double bass lessons with Eli Magen and Nir Comforty. In the past 20 years Guy is playing double bass in the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion, the last six of which in the associate principal position.
